Last updated: July 2026. Template for a demo build — have it reviewed for UK GDPR compliance before going live.
Account details (name, email, password — stored only as a secure hash); the CAD files and part configurations you upload; quotes and orders you create; and basic technical logs. We do not store card details — payments are handled by Stripe.
To provide instant quotes, process and fulfil orders (including sharing the technical details, but not your identity, with the manufacturing partner assigned to your job), manage your subscription, send you service notifications, and comply with our legal obligations.
We process your data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running the platform, and to meet legal obligations. Marketing, if any, is only with your consent.
We share the minimum necessary with: the manufacturing partner assigned to your order (part data only); Stripe (payments); and our email provider (notifications). We never sell your data.
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as required for tax and legal purposes, then delete or anonymise them.
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or port your data, and object to certain processing. Email hello@cncquoter.co.uk. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a single sign-in token (in local storage) that keeps you logged in — it is strictly necessary for the service to work, so no consent banner is required under PECR. It is deleted when you sign out. Stripe may set its own cookies during checkout; see Stripe's privacy policy.
Passwords are hashed, traffic should be served over HTTPS, and access to order data is role-restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
